The demand to shoot here has fluctuated beyond everyone’s expectations. There are not enough studios in the city. Over 20 productions were asked to delay, or find another location to shoot in as all Toronto based studios are booked. This means a loss of work. First time prospects interested in testing the waters here will not have the opportunity to, because they can’t afford to delay a production. Most productions range from $5 million to $250 million dollars.
